Why Italy?
We have spent many summers travelling around Europe but we always find ourselves going back to Italy. From our first weekend in Rome in 2017, to vacationing around the Amalfi coast in 2019, to getting engaged in Sicily in August of last year, each and every trip we have had to Italy has been unforgettable to us. When it came to planning our wedding we thought – “What could be more perfect than Italy?” A picturesque place that will now be all the more special to us.
That being said, we are so excited to share the magic with you and look forward to creating more amazing memories in Italy.
Venue
A bit like the first time we met, when we went to view Castello di Gabbiano we knew it was the one. This historic castle is set amongst over 100 hectares of vineyards in the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany.
Wine has been produced at Castello di Gabbiano for thousands of years. To this day, the wine cellars of the castle host great barrels and barriques for the aging wines of Castello di Gabbiano.
Our Night Before Forever More, Wedding Reception, and Happily Ever Afters will all take place at Castello di Gabbiano, with wine from the castle vineyards being served at all events.
