Wedding Week

It’s finally here! We’re so excited to celebrate with you!

We have some finer details to share with you regarding our Wedding Weekend including timing, transportation, and gifts, but first, we’d love to introduce our Wedding Party!

Bridesmaids

Julie Smith
Matron of Honour

Meet Julie! Julie is the second youngest of the Wilkins sisters but the maverick of the group! This firecracker is never afraid to march to the beat of her own drum. Julie is never one to want to leave a party early and we’d be surprised if she wasn’t the last man standing at least one of the nights!

Ciara Brett
Maid of Honour

Meet Ciara! Ciara is Sophie’s best friend from Tipperary, Ireland but currently lives in Perth, Australia. Having met when working together, their friendship quickly made it outside the work group chat, and they have never looked back! Ciara is often the life of the party and with it being a year since Ciara was home, a night of dancing is long overdue!

Orla Cranley
Bridesmaid

Meet Orla! Orla is the eldest of the Wilkins sisters and the one who kept the others in check when growing up! She is the responsible one and is always there to offer her advice to the other Wilkins girls with anything from house decorating to holiday destinations – and particularly in Sophie’s case – decision making. You can catch Orla on the dance floor to anything Abba!

Karen Walsh
Bridesmaid

Meet Karen! Karen is the second eldest Wilkins sister and was Sophie’s bunkbed roommate growing up. Karen influenced Sophie in many ways, including but not limited to teaching Sophie her signature dance move – the shoulder shimmy! Karen is the adventurous sister: she has bungee jumped in Greece, sky dived in Key West, lived in Boston for a summer, ran a marathon, and is never one to say no to a dance!

There seems to be a theme with the photos the bridal party provided –
they look ready for a good time! Cheers!

Groomsmen

Nick Marsit
Best Man

Meet Nick! Nick and Jack met in middle school and have been friends ever since. Having worked on fishing boats for years, Captain Nick is the daring friend of the group who just “goes for it” – the exact advice Nick gave Jack when Jack first met Sophie! Ever the smooth talker, Nick has the moves to back it up which he will no doubt showcase on the dance floor.

Bryan Kinsey
Groomsman

Meet Bryan! Another long time friend of Jack’s since middle school. Bryan is the sensible one of the trio, always offering solid advice and often having to keep Jack and Nick out of trouble. Having spent many summer vacations in Maine with Bryan and his family – Jack, Bryan, and Nick are like brothers. Having gone to the second best basketball university in North Carolina, Bryan is a “proud” Tar Heel but for this weekend only, we won’t hold that against him!!

Sam Christmas
Groomsman

Meet Sam! Sam is Jack’s younger brother. Sam is the creative brother with a great imagination, which helped him and Jack get into a lot of mischief growing up! Although they’ve grown out of causing mischief, Jack and Sam now enjoy teaming up for pickleball, competing at darts, and talking everything video games.

Alex Diaz
Groomsman

Meet Alex! Dr. Alexander Diaz has entered the chat! Alex and Jack met while playing rugby at the University of Florida – Go Gators! Alex has visited Sophie and Jack in Ireland and proved himself capable of keeping up with the Irish, so this 3-day celebration should be no problem to him. Alex is cool, calm and clumsy. He’ll tell you “it could happen to anyone” but we know better!
